Under this acronym is hidden a young DJ born in Barcelona, who was recently introduced in the clubbing scene and belongs to the called “Naranjito Generation” (in reference to the World Football Championship celebrated in Spain in 1982). Fan of the craziest sci-fi movies, he took his name from the main character of an 80’s film (meaning Data Analysing Robot Youth Lifeform).
In the beginning ,he was influenced by eighties music (electro, disco and italo) but being a collector, he soon started increasing his scope to styles from Chicago house to the brain dance, passing through the Detroit techno, electro, acid or the breakcore. D.a.r.y.l. has recently joined the local label Factor City, and will be publishing his first work with them very soon. In our days, he is a resident DJ of The Loft (Barcelona), and from his cabin monthly radiates hard bits and melodies.
