Meneo is an audio-visual band inspired by the vintage computer games world mixed with tropical rhythms. Its members, Rigo Pex and Ral Berrueco, shoot unpredictable live shows close to the 'performance art'. While one of them is making music with a gameboy, a keytar and some vocoders, the other is using vintage video and computer game engines as the base to build his visual effects.
With a relevant part of interactivity with the audience, nobody knows what will happen in their live shows. The pixel textures and the 8-bit sounds with tropical rhythms drive their audience to a kind of trance. With only twelve months on the road, Meneo has already performed as well in big festivals as in art galleries, as well in clubs of Barcelona and Dublin as in underground parties around different European countries.
